Kneadaseal®

Technical Data

Kneadaseal is a hand-mixable, UL-approved, epoxy putty compound for watertight/vaportight sealing of cable fittings and electrical connectors. It has excellent adhesion to most substrates, including metals and ceramics. Kneadaseal comes in a handy concentric putty stick form with the curing agent encapsulated in the contrasting color base material.

How to use:

Wear impermeable gloves when handling or mixing uncured material. Cut off required amount and mix to a uniform color. Force Kneadaseal into the area between conductors and cable armor to form an effective seal. Damming is not required. Kneadaseal has a 45 to 60 minute worklife. Full cure occurs in 24 hours. Cured color is pale yellow.
